Giovanne Baracho is our Intake Specialist from Brazil, equipped with a Bachelor’s degree in Law. His academic achievements include earning a full federal scholarship (Prouni) due to his exceptional performance on Brazil’s National High School Exam (Enem). He possesses a genuine passion for working with people and delivering exceptional service, a trait that has become a hallmark of his professional approach. 

With a solid background in education, Giovanne has dedicated 14 years to teaching English and Portuguese as well as accumulating 9 years of experience as an interpreter and translator. These experiences have honed his communication skills to a remarkable level, enabling him to effectively bridge language barriers and connect with others. 

Additionally, Giovanne’s passion for mentoring and guiding others is evident through his service as a counselor at a summer camp for six seasons. Despite being invited to work at a summer camp in the US, his visa application at the time was unsuccessful. Reflecting on this, he believes that if he had the support of IBP Immigration Law, the outcome would have been different, illustrating his hope for positive change through professional assistance. 

Outside of work, Giovanne enjoys spending time with his family and playing guitar. His favorite food is feijoada.
